Blending Eastern and western practices for optimal living

Spirituality

Do you live a life aligned with your truest self, your inner wisdom, your deepest callings? There is a sacred space within us all that speaks to us, when we choose to listen. Often we are most aware of this inner guidance in moments of great clarity, often thought of as aha moments or epiphanies when a voice of truth speaks. Most people hope for this guidance to show up for them when in great need, but don’t realize they can develop access to this voice of truth regularly, even daily. We can develop an intimate connection with our inner voice, bringing confidence and meaning to the paths we choose. We can live our life guided and designed by our own truest self.

There are many words to describe this sacred essence- soul, heart, callings, truest self, inner wisdom, God, divinity and many more. Together, we work with the language and belief systems that best serve you to develop a sacred and intimate connection. We learn to communicate with our sacred essence and learn to listen.

So often we allow thoughts, emotions and habits to direct our lives. The fleeting nature of thoughts and emotions can prove inconsistent and confusing, as they are easily influenced by external factors. Our habits tend to keep us running on auto-pilot, without much purposeful direction. We may depend on guidance from someone outside of ourselves to tell us what to do and how to best live. Who better to guide you and your ways but your own voice of wisdom, your own inner guru…. leading you to live your highest, most authentic life.

Our practice uses various tools to help clients live aligned with inner truths:

  • Meditation practices: access the space in between thoughts when connection to deeper and greater truths present.

  • Mindfulness practices: freedom from the mind’s tendency to incessantly focus on the past and the future to access the joy that lives in the present. When we tend to focus on the future, we run anxious. When we often focus on the past, we run sad. Joy lives here, in the present moment.

  • Soul Writing: methods to create a dialogue with your inner wisdom so your innermost self can speak and respond to you, regularly.

  • Yoga principles: tools drawn from moving meditations such as hatha and kundalini to deeply connect with body and spirit.

  • Self-discovery and expansion: exploration and expansion beyond layers of conditioning, social pressures and mental habits into your truest self.
